Fighting Poverty in the Neoliberal City

An attack on the poor
An attack on workers
An attack on democracy

Ottawa Mayor Larry O'Brien says he wants to run the city like a
business.
No democratic structures - disregard for the workers - contempt for the
poor.

But the mayor is only a symptom of the problem. A reflection of a shift
in
how people think about municipal government.

How do you fight city hall? Organize!
