Hi,
Please circulate this as widely as possible
March for the "Coming of All Faces"
We (Jacqueline House of 6 Nations and myself are coorganizing this
event) are planning a demonstration in Ottawa on the 19th of this month
to call attention to the fact that development on Native land or land
under unresolved claims have produced much grief and are a violation of
the Canadian Constitution (sections 25 and 35), so the Federal
Government, that is responsible for seeing to it that the treaties,
agreements, etc with Native People are respected must step up to the
plate and stop to this. We want to make an impact on the Canadian
Public through the media and hopefully also parliamentarians.
Who: Calling all On gwa hon weh, singers, drummers, and supporters
What: Education March and Campaign for Canada to uphold their own laws.
