Hi angela,
How are you?
I think this could be a cool event to take on.
The IPSMO folks may be interested due to the indigenous populations on many
of these threatened islands.
I don't have a general contact for IPSMO, although I have been working with
Angela S. on these things at the NO Uranium group.

I can help with promotion if you take this on.

Hi folks,

Pacific Peoples Partnership is doing a cross-country tour on climate
change issues with representatives from pacific small island states and
Canadian aboriginal representatives. They are scheduled to be in Ottawa
on December 1 and are open to doing a public event if someone on the
ground can volunteer to organize one. Does anyone from this group want
to volunteer to take the lead in putting something together (would seem
to be a good run-up to December 1, time provided)?

Cheers,

Graham Saul

Dear Graham,

Thank you for contacting me. I have some time to talk in the morning on
Monday, November 5th . Our group prepares to leave for the Cook Islands
on Tuesday, November 6th.

Our group will be in Ottawa on Tuesday, November 27th and again on
Saturday, December 1st. If all goes as planned, our agenda is full on
Tuesday but I need some assistance in arranging a public event on
Saturday, December 1st. If you can be of help, please let me know.

We are working to develop a second phase to our project and I'm sure
that there will be plenty of opportunities for us to collaborate in
future. I look forward to talking with you soon.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Peter
