[Humanpowered] One Week Until the Magic Unfolds Again....

Another of our Fast Cob Focus on Finishing Workshops just completed, and in 
exactly one week, another will begin.

They are 3 days of non-stop fun where we transform an unfinished (but fully 
built) cob structure into a work of art.

First we trim the surface to the rough shape we want, then we use a "first 
layer" of plaster to fill any major holes, before we use one of our two finish 
plasters: sand or lime.

As you can see in the photos below, the finish is gorgeous...and imminently 
paintable!

We were blessed by two artists that attended our last workshop and you can see 
the natural pigment painting they left behind...you can't see all the laughs and 
good times that were had and are still lingering around our workshop site.

On top of all that, we poured a natural earthen floor - from cob of course - 
that is still drying nicely.  We're deciding whether to fill the paw prints that 
Daisy Mae added or which ones will stand out with a filler of natural 
pigment/ochre, from our Mother Earth.

All of this and more is in store for our next - and last - Focus on Finishing 
Workshop for 2025.  It will begin with a Welcome Dinner on Thursday, June 12th 
and end with a Farewell Breakfast on Monday, June 9th.
