We've got a great summer of Cobbing lined up on Lasqueti Island. And you're now
formally invited to join us and learn more about Cob and Natural Building than
you ever thought possible!
Not only will we be building naturally and without machines, we're designing an
under-cob-floor heating system that may not exist in North America even though
it's been in use for about 2,000 years in Korea.
This summer, we'll be finishing a Cob Guest House, which means putting roof
beams in Cob walls as well as a ceiling, roof and non-toxic insulation in
between. Plastering and painting with completely non-toxic natural materials
will soon follow.
We're also starting a 25' x 35' oval two story house with lots of windows and
two big doors, not to mention plumbing and 24V DC electrical, all on top of that
Korean underfloor heating system. Weather permitting, we'll have it all done by
Autumn.
How can we build so much in so little time?
With Appa's Fast Cob, the revolutionary technique that makes building with Cob
at least 10x faster and so much easier, almost anyone can build a home by
themselves now!
We have two workshops starting in July: *July 6th to 13th* as well as *July 27th
to August 3rd.*
Anyone who applies and pays in full before June 1st will *save big with our
Early Bird Discount.*
If those dates don't work for you, don't worry, we also have workshops scheduled
for *August 24th to 31st* and *September 7th to 14th*. The Early Bird Discount
ends on July 1st and August 1st respectively for each of these workshops.

604 and 778 area codes, call toll-free at 877.873.1797).
Women and families are especially encouraged to apply. Barters or trades are
always possible.
Here's hoping you can experience the magic of building in community very soon!
