If you've been considering checking out the Parenting with an Open Heart seminar
series, there is still room for you!

This Saturday, we'll be focusing on the say "you're sorry"s, "please", and
"thank you"s. A related issue is the concept of sharing.

We'll tie that into the understanding we all have of Authoritarian vs. Role
Modelling parenting.

These seminars are designed to allow you to share what's relevant for you and
your child(ren). My goal is to share the research and experiences I've had that
relate to the topics at hand. I've found the 1st two sessions incredibly
inspiring and the feedback I've received suggests that's the case for those who
attended as well.

And we'll have lots of yummy snacks!

Both littler ones who have attended seemed to enjoy the sessions, too, so please
feel free to bring along your wee and not-so-wee ones.

We'll start at 6pm and go until 8pm.

You can find us at 2105 Parker Street. Enter the backyard from Lakewood Drive
(hopefully it'll be still light out now at 6!) through two gates. You'll see
lots of lights on inside the downstairs and the motion detector will light your
way, too. If you hear a dog, it's Willy Willow who is a very loving Maltese
Poodle that managed to develop a loud bark to make up for her small size. She
loves kids (my daughter trained her that way) and loves to chase balls.

Hope to see you Saturday!

PS. It will help me prepare enough food if you reply to this email
(bike at resist.ca) or call and leave a message (604.216.6700) to confirm your
attendance. Thanks!
