[Humanpowered] Two weeks until another fabulous Cob workshop begins!

We've just completed another successful week long Natural Building workshop on 
Lasqueti Island: 2nd for 2013 and 12th overall.

And in just over two weeks, another great week of cobbing begins. There are only 
2 workshops with space left in our 2013 season (the last available one starts in 
less than a month!), so if you're keen to learn Fast Cob, act quickly.  These 
next 2 workshops will literally start with a rock foundation and build in all 
the features you need for any structure: doors, windows, electrical and plumbing.

These workshops will give you a strong sense of design and will focus on both 
the basics of building and finishing your structure to bring out its inherent 
beauty.

These workshops will teach you how to build any size building on your own or 
with a group.  We use and learn a technique only recently developed and 
perfected, which makes building with cob realistic and enjoyable for any able 
bodied human.

You'll be on the leading edge of the Natural Building movement after taking this 
workshop!

And the food!  Our chef Emily continually tingles our tastebuds with fresh out 
of the garden veggies and salads as well as hearty fare to keep us nourished and 
more than satisfied.  At 3 hot meals and two plentiful snacks each day, it's 
difficult to keep up to all the food!

Here are the remaining available dates:

Sunday, August 25 to Friday, August 30th (travel days are the Saturdays before 
and after) and
Sunday, September 8 to Friday, September 13th (travel days are the Saturdays 
before and after)

Summertime on Lasqueti Island is easy living with warm, sunny days and cool, 
clear nights.  You can bring your own tent or rent our guest tent: a prospector 
tent with queen sized bed on a cedar platform with your own kitchen in the cool 
of the forest.

You'll need to contact Dave very soon if you want to join in on the fun on 
August 24th or September 7th when we start the workshops off with our welcome 
dinner, expertly prepared by Chef Emily.
