Hey folks,
anyone interested in helping with or attending a knitting workshop please
check out this email from another OPIRG working group.
Hi *Threadworkers*,
We're back-- hope everyone had a great summer! To kick off the year,
Threadwork is hosting our *Annual General Meeting* this *Wednesday
September 19th at 5:30pm in MUSC 206/207*. If you have any ideas for
Threadwork or want to know how to get more involved, this is the event for
you! If you can't make it but want to give us some input, just email us
back before Wednesday and we'll bring up your comments at the AGM.
As well, we'd like to put out an open call for those interested in
leading/co-leading *knitting workshops* (yay! we're doing them again!) this
year. If so, please fill out
this<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjeiwK5D7D9WdDZXVm8zd25wZ0xLbEJzUGtSZ1hLRnc>spreadsheet
by
*September 22nd* with your availability. There is no obligation to do it
every week (you could stipulate your availability to one-time only,
monthly, biweekly, or whatever you choose).
Thanks everyone,
Isabelle on behalf of *OPIRG*'s MacThreadwork
P.S. If you'd like to be removed from this email list, please let us know.

"If modern industrial education—and more broadly industrial
civilization—requires "the subsumption of the individual," that is, the
conversion of vibrant human beings into "automata," i.e., into a pliant
workforce, then the most revolutionary thing we can do is follow our
hearts, to manifest who we really are."
