Hi folks,
PAC has put together the final details for the third Hamilton Tour of
Struggle (see below). We're looking forward to it and would like to
invite anyone who's interested in attending to let us know by replying
to politicalaction at cupe3906.org by this Saturday at noon.

What: Hamilton Tour of Struggle III
When: Saturday September 15th, 3-5:30pm
Where: We'll be meeting in the lobby of the Student Centre (near the
Occupy McMaster site)
Itinerary:
McMaster University – Occupy McMaster and perspectives on current
campus struggles
Westdale Village – Contesting sexual violence on and off campus
In transit -- The Hamilton Womyn's Bike Collective and cycling in the city
Rok Bar, Hess Village -- Steel City Solidarity and the struggles of
precarious workers
Workers Arts and Heritage Centre -- celebrating workers' histories and
upcoming initiatives
Barton Street Jail -- 1) Labour lockdown, solidarity with prisoners
and prison expansion in the age of austerity
2) Six Nations' land reclamation and the
criminalization of land defenders
James St. North – Gentrification and contesting narratives of the
'creative city'
We'll be ending in the midst of Super Crawl on James N., so feel free
to check it out or stick around and continue the conversation.
Cost: FREE!!
**Please note we will be traveling by foot and HSR. Bus tickets will
be provided. If you have any concerns, please let us know when you
rsvp and we will do out best to provide alternative transportation
arrangements.
