Date: Sun, 16 Oct 2011 22:17:30 -0400 Subject: Free To Learn Message-ID: Hey folks, Tom Dusome here offering greetings and invitations to be brave with your learning in the coming months. we have a few things on the horizon to let you know about. Also, if anyone wants off this list let us know and we'll remove you. anyways here goes. 1. A film screening of Free To Learn will be held at the Artword Artbar at 15 colbourne st. starting at 8pm the film documents the workings of Albanys Freeskool. paticipant driven educational centre for individuals of the ages 4-14. its a heart warming film for chilly times. a discussion and activity will follow. this is a free event. 2. Project Freeskool. the organizers are hard at work putting the peices together of this exciting venture. it will offer. 4 basic classes. Building stuff, How to talk to eachother, Self care, and Play!. every session will be accompanied by a specific workshop. with a line up such as. fermintation and sprouting, canning and perserving, beatboxing and vocal improv, and series called what i learned from my brother, a discussion with anne lanagan. stay tuned for more details. 3. Freeskool is hitting the streets. as part of project freeskool we want to project what freeskool is and means to the whole world. so we will be tabling and advertising alot more. look out for us on james street during artcrawls. at mac once a month and, just out and about. 4.
