Hey FreeSkoolers!
If you've been reading the news the past couple weeks, you may have heard
about how our friend Peter was recently imprisoned for his role in
organizing protests against the G20 summit in Toronto last summer.  Peter
was one of the founding organizers of FreeSkool, facilitated classes like
French Talkin' and Go Club, and has supported all kinds of radical
community projects in Hamilton over the past several years.  This is
without mentioning how he has touched and supported each of us individually.

So let's send him some love! Prisons are intentionally removed both
physically and mentally from our daily lives so that we don't see these
revolting examples of statecraft, but we can break down the barriers that
separate us with our letters and support!

*Tonight at 6pm at Homegrown Hamilton* (27 King William St), we will be
gathering to write letters to Peter, his beautiful co-accused, and other
political prisoners.  Paper, pens, stamps and envelopes will be provided.
 These nights will be biweekly, so if you can't make it on such short
notice, we'll keep you posted on further evenings.
