If FreeSkool is interested in booking space through the library, let me
know and I'll pass along the relevant contact info. Cheers.

Hey Freeskoolers!

This is just a fast post-mayday email to update everyone on the fact
that we
had a wicked successful Mayday event with a strong Freeskool presence
and
some great, positive interactions, and to welcome the new subscribers to
Hamilton Freeskool email updates! It was really great to meet you and we
look forward to co-operating and learning with all of you in whatever
manner
evolves!

Remember that the invitation is out for new facilitators, new classes,
new
organizers! If you are interested in proposing a class *please* don't be
shy, email us your idea and we'll try to get together with you over
coffee
to discuss what you need from us and how we can make it happen. I heard
some
great ideas for classes today, get those wheels turning and send us your
ideas! Anyone who is interested in becoming an organizer, also, please
do
get in touch with us.

May is shaping up to be a busy month in Hamilton with some important and
stimulating goings-on... we'll keep you updated! Also, please have a
look
around the Hamilton Freeskool website (www.hamiltonfreeskool.org) to
read
about upcoming classes and for facilitator email addresses so that you
can
get in touch with them. So far in upcoming weeks we will be having a new
Qi
Gong class starting up, a jamming class, vegan baking, short documentary
discussion, 'tour de freeskool' (bike adventures!) and more... contact
facilitators for more details! This is exciting stuff, folks.

Happy May!

Rachel, for Freeskool

"If modern industrial education?and more broadly industrial
civilization?requires "the subsumption of the individual," that is, the
conversion of vibrant human beings into "automata," i.e., into a pliant
workforce, then the most revolutionary thing we can do is follow our
hearts,
to manifest who we really are."
