<Hamilton FreeSkool!> g8/g20 presentation and discussion at 7pm TOMORROW

Hey folks,

Probably most of you have heard that the G8 will be meeting in Huntsville
and the G20 in Toronto this June. The G20 are the central bankers and
financiers from the twenty richest countries in the world who meet to direct
the global economic system in a way that is favorable to the rich in their
respective countries. The social and economic policies the G8 and G20
enforce have been disastrous for the huge majority of people in the world,
while focusing benefits towards a tiny, powerful majority.

 The G20 summit in Toronto will feature the largest military deployment in
Canada since the Second World War, featuring security costs of $60 million
per day, and a perimeter fence around a large piece of downtown
Toronto.These summits are usually met by massive, creative protests, and
this summer in Toronto will be no different.

If you're curious about what the G8 and G20 are, if you're interested in
being involved in protest events in Toronto, or if you want to organize
locally around these issues, there will be an information night tomorrow!
