have you heard?! the new term is getting underway!!  Exploratory
Movement starts tomorrow night, French will be talkin' soon, Go Club's
going, Decolonizing/Solidarity is in action, and there's a Dinner and Theory
date on the 22nd...  More to come too (breakdancing?! theatre?! think

*One-Time Workshop: **Growing Vegetables for Self-Sufficiency*
*Saturday Sept 19 **1:00**-**3ish** OR Saturday Sept 26th - let us know
which date you'd prefer, and the most responses wins!*
*Facilitated by Sarah Baker*

Each summer Sarah tries to grow enough veggies to meet her needs for the
year.  She spends a few hours each week growing a large plot of organic
veggies (about ¼ acre), and then stores them using the most nutritious and
energy efficient methods she can find.

 Come for:

-         a tour of the garden,  introductions to the plants

-         hands-on interaction with the garden (maybe some harvesting)

-         ideas on how to estimate what to grow for 1 or 2 people for a year

-         basic planting, maintenance, harvest, seed-saving info

-         sharing favorite methods of food preservation

-         a peek into the root cellar she reclaimed
All are welcome to attend and bring any knowledge or questions on the above
topics to share!
