[GSA Council] General Assembly Promotions

Dear the executives' team,

I appreciate all your efforts. I think you can also request that
associations should send a delegate for GA and you can put it on the agenda
that from now on, the associations should work closely with GSA if they are
willing to receive their benefits (Jean-Simon Castonguay has already
confirmed his attendance in GA; maybe he can move for this motion if he
agrees). You can ask other associations to promote GA via email and their
social media as well.

Moreover, you can send a reminder to all graduate students on March 7th
mentioning the time of GA, holding By-Elections for the vacant council of
director positions in arts and science and INDI Departments, the
availability of free food, and the chance of winning a raffle (maybe $50).

The directors can also help you with sharing the Facebook post on the page
of their departments. We are mostly promoting the event in EV and Hall
building. The directors can kindly devote one or two hours of their time to
door to door campaigning at JMSB and Faculty of Fine Arts. I understand
graduate students have an added pressure during the midterm exams.
Therefore, they have a limited opportunity to do so because of constraints
of the midterm period. However, I believe planning with the executives can
enhance our chances of reaching quorum. To combat exam stress, let's
communicate with the students just for an hour :)

I can join you on Thursday at 11am in EV. Let's meet up at the security
section.
