[GSA Council] Resignation from the position of GSA Executive Team – Vice President External

Dear GSA Council Members,

This email is to inform you that I decided to withdraw my resignation dated
10 July 2019 from my position as VP External in the GSA.

During the first council meeting, I had some concerns about the hostile and
obstructive work environment and the numerous emails sent daily to object
or to pressure the executives. This seriously disappointed me and made me
think about the resignation, I was looking for a more collaborative
environment in order to achieve the goals we “all” work for.

After I sent the resignation notice, I had the chance to meet some of the
council directors and members to pass and discuss my concerns. They showed
great support and understanding which I really appreciate. They promised to
enhance the working environment and to cooperate with the executives and
work with the spirit of the team away from any differences among us in a
constructive way for the betterment of the graduate students of Concordia
University.

Please accept my withdrawal notice against my resignation email sent
earlier as I found the present situation is promising and conducive to
achieve the council’s goals.
