[GSA Council] IMPORTANT: Directors without valid reasons for their absences

Dear all,

Regarding the request of some council members:

Article XVII – Call for Resignation

1. An executive may be dismissed by the council in the event of two (2)
unaccounted absences from executive or council meetings.

2. *A director may be dismissed by the council in the event of two (2)
unaccounted absences from council meetings. *

3. Work commitments, scheduled course commitments, illness, bereavement or
emergency are valid reasons for absence but!the council may request
documentation in all cases.

4. A motion for the dismissal of an executive or director must appear on
the agenda sent by the Chair prior to the council meeting.

5. A Call for Resignation shall be deemed accepted by a 2/3 majority of a
vote.

I could not find valid reasons in my files for *Divya (2 absences),
Fangfang (3 absences), Abhi (2 absences) and Avneet Singh (2 absences)*.

Please send me the valid reasons for your absences before the GSA Council
meeting on February 25th.
