Nura, as a chair I expect you to not underestimate filling the vacant position issue. As you know, three months (one-quarter of the mandate) is left, I do not believe that it is an insignificant point that would be resolved without considering the vote of all directors. I will totally respect the voting result but we will need to do so. It is not a worthless issue! 



I am really unclear as to what you are saying, however 

(1) it is not my role to determine the merit of points brought to discussion beyond the  scope of ensuring a productive and respectful meeting. 

(2) I did not underestimate your point, I just confirmed what transpired in the previous meeting (which others present agree) and falls under my role.

(3) my only interest (as per the scope of my responsibilities) in confirming what transpired in the previous meeting is to avoid wasting precious meeting time on something previously discussed and to promote a civil meeting rather than one based on arguments and confrontation.
