I am really unclear as to what you are saying, however
(1) it is not my role to determine the merit of points brought to discussion beyond the scope of ensuring a productive and respectful meeting.
(2) I did not underestimate your point, I just confirmed what transpired in the previous meeting (which others present agree) and falls under my role.
(3) my only interest (as per the scope of my responsibilities) in confirming what transpired in the previous meeting is to avoid wasting precious meeting time on something previously discussed and to promote a civil meeting rather than one based on arguments and confrontation.
