[GSA Council] Resignation | Effective Immediately

Hi Aeisha,

1) It's better if you say sorry for the performance of the executive's team
when you are not following the bylaw. You should apologize to the council
and all graduate students for stop working when we have not approved your
resignation's request yet. *According to the by-law, you have the
responsibility to carry out your actions for the length of the mandate when
we have not adopted your resignation's proposal yet. It's important that
you take the time to apologize to yourselves and all graduate students. *

2) *Your team has proved that you are only sticking to your bursary *and
when we adopt cutting your bursary, you start thinking about resignation
instead of respecting to the council's decision. To be honest, I found your
recent email very aggressive as you were threatening us to resign in case
of not getting back your last paycheck.

3) To the best of my knowledge, *none of the ex executive's team asked to
resign when the council cut 100 percent of their bursary* and they tried to
get back their bursary by working harder. We also feel you are weak to give
up when it is almost over. In contrast, we are all brave enough to do our
actions for the length of the mandate.

4) According to by-law:
1. An Executive or Director shall give a written notice of resignation to
Council at least one month prior to her/his resignation.
2. A motion for the dismissal of an executive or director must appear on
the agenda sent by the Chair prior to the council meeting.
3. A Call for Resignation shall be deemed accepted by a 2/3 majority of a
vote.
