[GSA Council] ***New Meeting Dates for March

We have dealt with this issues in the JMGSA and the following amendment was
made to bylaws:

I believe we should use this as a base to amend our bylaws:

FROM THE JMGSA Constitution (ByLaws)

1.       Quorum not reached

a.       If a General Assembly can’t be opened because the quorum was not
reached, it is to be automatically postponed to the following week. If the
new session does not achieve quorum it may be opened by recognizing a moral
quorum (Section 5 Article 6); in this situation, the General Assembly is
legitimate if it deems itself to be so.

2.       Moral Quorum

a.       Moral quorum must be decided upon by a unanimous vote that must
include at least one non-executive member.

b.       Moral quorum is the assertion that members present, while below 30
JMGSA members are representative of the interests of the JMGSA student
population.
I believe we should apply the same methodology to our Council of Director
Meetings:

1) Quorum cannot be reached:
a) If Quorum for a Council of directors meeting cannot be reached, a motion
may be passed to determine if a Moral Quorum can be reached.
b) Moral quorum is the assertion that members present, while below actual
quorum, are representative of the interests of the GSA student population.
c) Moral Quorum must be decided upon by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the
Elected Directors, absentee directors shall be treated as abstain if no
response is received in 48 hours.

If nobody objects, I can put forward a motion to red-line the Bylaws and
put this into practice until which point it can be ratified in a GA.

Please just respond with some quick "Agree" / "Disagree" so I can get a
feel before I redline the documents.
