[GSA Council] GSA Council Meeting - June

Hello all, friendly reminder that your first GSA council meeting is
tomorrow evening starting at *6:30pm at the GSA House*. Please ensure that
the first thing you do when you arrive at the meeting is to sign the
sign-in sheet, very important so that your cheques can get processed
without any problems. This has to be done *before* the meeting starts.
People who on't sign in at 6:30pm will not be eligible to receive payment
for their time. The, Nura, the Chair, will try to be there right at 7pm,
but she may be a few minutes late as she will be coming from another
meeting so please wait for her to arrive.

Some major rules/ things to do:
-A minute taker (possible a councillor) will be appointed at the beginning
of the meeting to take notes of the meeting.
-I have attached a template of the minutes to this email for the minute
taker to use
-Always address the Chair, raise your hand and wait for the Chair to
acknowledge you (otherwise we may have chaos)
-Limit any discussion between yourselves (again, speak to the Chair
directly to discuss your points  or concerns, - address the Chair)
-Motions can only be put forth by a councillor and must be seconded by a
councillor before going to a vote ("I motion to ...", "I second the motion")
