[GSA Council] ***Online motion: Director dismissal

*Motion:*

*BIRT Sarah Ghorbani Elizeh (Director of Arts and Science) is dismissed
from the council due to missing the November and December 2017 council
meetings without valid written excuse as confirmed by the meeting
facilitator. This is in accordance to Article XVII.2 of the by-laws that
states, "a director may be dismissed by the council in the event of two (2)
unaccounted absences from council meetings”. Since council is finding it
difficult to agree on meeting dates, and since Sarah has been unable to
indicate availability for any of the Winter 2018 meeting dates it will be
easier for scheduling the rest of the meetings with one less councillor and
hence a reduced quorum.*
