[GSA Council] Election Judicial Committee

Hello everyone!

As per the last Council meeting we have this motion which puts 4 directors
in the Election Judicial Committee.
*4.2 Election Judicial committee*
*Motion CO – 20160320 - 05*

*BIRT that Ashley, Michael, Stephi and Rahul be appointed as members of the
judicial *
*committee.*

As Rahul and resigned and as per the By-Law of the Elections judicial
committee whi9ch is stated below:

*a. An Elections Judicial Committee pool shall be appointed by Council
prior to the hiring of the C.R.O..*

*b. The Elections Judicial Committee shall be the highest and final
adjudicating authority for any and all issues concerning the elections.*

*c. This Committee pool shall be composed of:*

*i. Members of the Executive Committee who are not candidates in the
election.*

*ii. Four (4) Council members who are not candidates in the election.*

*iii. At no point in time shall this Committee have less than five (5) or
more than nine (9) members.*

*iv. Quorum for a meeting shall be five (5) members.*

*v. In the event all members of the Council and/or the Executive are
running for re-election, the Council shall advertise among the membership
to fill this committee.*

*vi. The President shall chair these meetings in an ex-officio capacity
save in matters of a hung committee in which case he/she shall cast the
deciding vote.*


As Current VP internal and President are not running for upcoming elections
they can be on the committee and we need to have one more director on this
committee.

So basically, this is just a reminder email as we need to this prior to
hiring of CRO who will be hired tomorrow i.e 30th March, 2016. Please go
through this.
