[GSA Council] Council packet for February 20 2016, 1:00-4:00 PM

Dear all,

Please find attached the packet for your meeting on February 20th 2016 at 1:00 PM. You are requested to be there 30 minutes earlier at 12:30 PM in order to receive your honorarium. 

I have attached the minutes from February 7th and the council packet. I have also attached several documents concerning items on the packet. You will find more in the packet itself. Concerning VP internal’s report, it contained meeting minutes for the executive committee, and I have put them in their own file, in order to make the packet simpler. There is an information session concerning CFS that may need to be in closed session, depending on the sensitivity of the information. 

I also received a motion concerning the appointments committee without any actual recommendations. I was informed that it would be sent soon. Whenever I get it I will forward it to council. Council meeting dates are known, and so committees should meet before hand so that this kind of stuff does not happen again.

Finally, I have an apology  to make, as I have still not found a chair for the meeting, but not for lack of trying. Unfortunately, many obligations have come up, and so any recommendations would be welcome. If for some reason I am still unable to find someone, I recommend that an executive or a councillor take over (less than ideal scenario).
