[GSA Council] ECSGA BYLAWS and CFS vs RAE Settlement

Hello Everyone,

Please find attached the ECSGA bylaws and the failed GA documentation. This

I will be meeting today at 1PM with the heads of the other student
associations, PGSS, CSU and DSU, to approve and sign the settlement
agreement.

I have not seen the minutes of the close session, but I Was told that Jawad
is supposed to go with me to sign the document. I do not understand why.

Please make the closed session minutes available or send me a copy of the
closed session minutes.

The closed session is to discuss matters that are sensitive or
confidential. If sensitive information such as the settlement amount is not
included in the motion, I see no reason why it should not be available to
GSA members. GSA is an association and being transparent to members is
important.

The settlement is for a case that was scheduled for hearing before a Quebec
Superior court. The court records will indicate that a settlement was
reached. There is nothing wrong with making members aware that a settlement
agreement was approved. The terms of the agreement needs to remain
confidential.
