[GSA Council] GA Mobilization

Hi Danish,

I think someone else brought this up earlier, but as the date of our next
GA is approaching, I wanted to bring up this issue again. Our last GA
failed to meet quorum, and the GA before lost quorum right after the
elections. This is obviously a serious problem, because it suggests that
the GSA is not reaching its members.

At the December GA, we had a discussion about mobilization, and it was
suggested that people might be more inclined to come to our GAs if they had
a reason to come to them. For instance, we have failed, at our last two GAs
to have a vote on the motions about anti-austerity and pipelines. What do
you think about mobilizing around these issues for our upcoming GA? Let me
know what you think. Perhaps this could be a topic for discussion at the
upcoming GA planning committee meeting. I'm happy to help with the
mobilization if I can.

Cheers,

Isabelle
