[GSA Council] January council meeting

Hello,First, happy new year!
As many of you know, I have an internship in Switzerland starting mid february for four months so I guess I will no longer be able to be part of the GSA for this period. My last senate meeting will be Feb 13th. I will leave on the 14th.

As for the council meeting, my objective opinion is to keep the Jan 12th to catch up on the agenda items since we never seem to be able to finish, and still have the second meeting that the second doodle is for. If the executives have nothing to report because of time, then they have nothing to report and we can postpone to the meeting after. my subjective selfish opinion would be that I have a deadline on the 15th so the less meetings before that the better so feel free to cancel it.
I filled the second doodle, It is all maybes because I seem to have the most volatile schedule these days.

Good evening Councilors,

On behalf of the Executive team, Committee members and staff we are asking you to delay our January Council meeting approximately one week. We have all, Directors,Executives and staff  returned to campus today. It is  impossible for us to have completed much work on several dossiers including most pertinently the work of the Budget Committee. This is also one of our most stressful periods as we are in the midst of ensuring we have a successful Winter Orientation as well as dealing with our own personal beginning of term issues as you all are as well. While I respect the fact that we have many things to accomplish, a meeting this coming Monday will only add not only to our stress but also likely to that of the entire group on a go-forward basis. 

I encourage you to allow us all proper preparation time so that we can come together and hold a productive and efficient meeting. Please fill out the alternate doodle Gretchen provided as soon as possible. 

Also, I have been told that several of you have now completed your courses and\or are contemplating leaving the GSA. Could you please let me know as soon as possible as to whether you will be continuing on as part of our Board of Directors as this will obviously have an impact on how we proceed.
