[GSA Council] Surveys for Council meeting schedule and draft minutes

Hello GSA Councillors--

As requested in Council motions passed on Aug. 29th, please complete the
following surveys by *September 6th at Noon* to schedule council meetings
for Fall semester.

Also, please find draft minutes attached. Do note the concern raised about the
vote for 5.1 Vacant Advocacy Manager Position:



*Minute taker's concern -- Upon review of the minutes and the GSA
bylaws, **Article
11.9 seems to conflict with the recorded vote:*

*“Council may leave the positions of Manager Advocacy and/or Manager
Services unfilled for a period of no longer than 60 days. This provision is
renewable and requires the unanimous consent of all Directors for each
extension.”*

            BIRT the Advocacy Manager hiring be suspended.
