If it is of any worth, I completely agree with everything you said. That is precisely the motivation behind my motions last council and this coming council to set all future meetings to be the last Saturday of every month from 6-9 PM. I hope this mitigates things for the future.

Hello,
I would like to send my regrets for the upcoming GSA council meeting on Tuesday, August 18th.
Unfortunately I have not been able to make any of the meetings yet as they have all been during daytime hours which is extremely confusing to me as a very experienced member of the Concordia student politics community since every other association and committee I have sat on has been held during the evening (except of course faculty committees), and when I signed up to run for the GSA I was told that meetings were held Thursday nights.
As graduate students I would kind of expect the majority of us to have jobs from 9 to 5 hours either externally or working in our respective research labs, especially during the summer, so I am not sure why meetings are being held at these times or even why we are using a Doodle to schedule meetings instead of having a pre-set meeting time like every single other student politics organization.
This is a very inefficient way of setting meetings and is more reminiscent of a high school drama club trying to set a meeting time than a group of 20-30 year old student politicians.
Regards,
Caitlin
