[GSA Council] Urgent - council vote for appointing Elections Judicial Committee

Hello Councillors--

The GSA Council is required by the Elections regulations (link
<http://gsaconcordia.ca/governance/regulations/election-regulations/>) to
appoint an Elections Judicial Committee with at least 9 members (four of
whom shall be Councillors) with a quorum of 5 and the committee is
currently 1 - Executive and 3 Councillors (Isabelle, Mathilde, and Rain),
there is one seat open for a Councillor who is not a candidate in the
current election.

A council motion is required to do this business tabled from recent agendas
(see 8.4 from March Council); thereby opening the call for nominations and
conducting a vote on appointing a Councillor to the Elections Judicial
Committee.

The following motion for your vote is moved by Mathilde and seconded by
Isabelle:




*BIRT Council call for nominations of a Councillor who is not a candidate
in election to be appointed to the Elections Judicial Committee; BIFRT the
Council Chair will conduct this call for nominations and appointment over
the GSA Council email list as soon as possible.*

Please send your vote FOR, AGAINST, or ABSTENTION. All Councillors are
required to vote by emailing the Chair as soon as possible.

All Councillors are advised to consult the Conflict of Interest policy (link
<https://www.dropbox.com/l/j7Dd0VnIIqPaEW8XKlu2It>) when voting.
