Hi everyone,

Concerning the postering, the persons to whom it may concern are now aware. They will not post over other community posters when the dates aren't expired.

Best,

Marilou

Hi everyone,

>From what I have heard, the Kokobi polling clerks have managed to reach a
record number of GSA members during the first 2 days of the accreditation
campaign. (One of them even found myself and Audrey Dahl in the far corners
of the education department!)

However, I have a couple of concerns about the way things are proceeding.
One is that GSA posters are being placed rather obnoxiously over other
posters, including those of our member associations. This practice is
likely to breed resentment and contempt toward the GSA and should be
stopped immediately.

An even more serious problem is how voting is being done. I have worked in
a number of municipal, provincial, and federal elections and I believe that
the "secret ballot" voting method being used here is not secret at all. How
can it be when voters are expected to write their name on the envelope and
place their ballot inside?

This is a highly irregular voting method that compromises the anonymity of
voters and the integrity of the accreditation campaign. Is there anything
that the Executive or Council can do to address this?
