[GSA Council] GSA's Campaigns Committee meeting on 19th november 4 p.m. in GSA house!!

Greetings everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I am Mohammad Jawad Khan, GSA VP-External
(2014-15).

Folks, A lot of stuff is going on these days in university, specially
releted to Austerity. Most of Concordia's student associations, unions and
clubs have endorsed the anti austerity campaign and is working on their
levels resisting the cuts.

As far as GSA is concerned, a relevant motion regarding anti austerity will
be discussed in the coming General Assembly, empowering GSA to endorse the
anti austerity campaign.

Meanwhile, Lets revive GSA's campaigns committee which, identifies issues,
formulates strategic plans, and helps execute public events to pressure
decision-makers to consider alternative points of view.

Hence, for this ongoing issues and to address those which are not yet
explored !! GSA needs enthusiastic, ingenious and critical thinkers who are
persistent and have a zeal to represent members interest.

I urge, all the councillors and all the members on this list to become a
part of campaigns committee and make some difference in the Concordia
community !!!
