Le Festival International de Théâtre Anarchiste de Montréal (FITAM) revient pour sa 12e édition, les 23 et 24 mai 2017, 19h30, à la Sala Rossa. Deux soirées de théâtre engagé, enragé, qui refuse la passivité et promeut l’inclusion, l’autonomie et l’égalité. Avec la participation de troupes internationales et locales.
Le FITAM est le seul festival au monde consacré au théâtre anarchiste. S’inscrivant dans le mois de l’anarchie, le FITAM offre une tribune à des troupes et artistes aux propos radicaux. Après avoir reçu, entre autres excellentes troupes, le Living Theatre (2009), Pol Pelletier (2011) et le Bread and Puppet (2014), nous avons cette année l’honneur de présenter sept compagnies en provenance de l’Ontario et de Montréal. Marionnettes, improvisation anti-capitaliste, comédie musicale, théâtre in-your-face, conférence musicologique, voix plurielles contre le harcèlement : cette année encore, le FITAM propose une programmation diverse, accessible au plus grand nombre.

Montreal's annual International Anarchist Theatre Festival (FITAM) will be back for its twelfth edition, May 23 and 24, 2017, 7:30pm, at la Sala Rossa. Two nights of provocative, socially engaged, freedom-loving theatre. Featuring international and local artists.
The FITAM – the world’s only anarchist theatre festival – is part of the month of anarchy which takes place every May in Montreal. The festival is a platform for radical groups and artists. This year's edition will present seven groups from  Ontario and Montreal. Puppetry, anticapitalist improvisation, musical comedy, in-yer-face theatre, musicals comedy, multiple voices against harassment... Once again, the FITAM offers a rich, eclectic, accessible program for a broad public.
