FREE GEEK October General Meeting
Date: Tues Oct 9 2007 6:30pm-8:30pm
Where: Free Geek, 117 East 2nd Ave. (between Main & Quebec) Vancouver BC
This is a call for agenda items for the upcoming General Monthly Meeting.
- To present a topic, please email me & I'll add it to the agenda.
- All workgroups that have met since the last monthly meeting should
consider presenting a brief summary of what they're working on.
- People who made commits will be asked for updates.
*** Please volunteer for a role. If you have never done so, or if you want
to learn more about how to it better, you are especially encouraged to give
it a shot! You won't be left on your own; others are there to support and
assist you. Email me if you can be one of these:
1. CONSENSUS BRIEFER: Give a brief (5 min) overview of how consensus
decisions are made, how to get on the speakers' list, and general meeting

2. FACILITATOR: Keep the conversation productive, moving along, & on topic.
Look for ways to facilitate consensus process.
3. REGULATOR: Assist the Facilitator. Keep a speakers' list of people
waiting to talk.
4. SCRIBE: Take attendance & meeting minutes.

5. MINUTES CHECKER: After the meeting, review the minutes to make sure
nothing was missed; post minutes to the general list.
