Hello Everyone,

Its true.  Free Geek Vancouver has a location!  June 1st, 2007 we will
be moving into the False Creek area.   I'll be putting up the address
soon.

So a big moving day is ahead.  We need help moving all our hardware
from storage and The Geek House to the location.

I would like to make an early start of it on the 1st.  Be at the
storage area early enough to beat the moving day rush!  So perhaps the
best thing would be to have some different teams.  One team that will
meet at the storage area, and a second team that will be at the
location, that can meet us there later in the day.

Somethings that we are going to be needing shortly.

1) pallet jack
2) hand carts
3) chairs
4) desk(s)
5) tools
6) cleaning supplies
7) chocolate

Would love to hear ideas and suggestions, especially sourcing a pallet jack.

Also the location is going to need an alteration to the washroom to
make it accessible.  Will need a good brain storming session on that.

The floor plans, and measurements on the washroom can be found on-line[1].

Hooray!!!  A Community Technology Centre!
