Big thanks to Rusty for being the first to bring up the Massive show at
the last General Meeting! There will be more thanks going out after the
dust settles; there are people working very hard in solidarity with Free
Geek.

Update: the banner is being hand-crafted, we're being donated a small
rainforest to dress the booth, photos are being printed, dvds & stickers
are on their way from Portland.

Methinks this thread should go to the Communications mailing list now.

If anyone would like to volunteer to help with set up at the Convention
Centre on Tuesday, please email me or call David 604-690-9065. We are
allowed in there between 2-9pm, though we haven't decided exactly what
time we'll go in. It won't take 7 hours, don't worry!

Good luck to David & Sean tomorrow at Sista'hood!

Good luck to me & Rev Phil from Portland on Sunday

Good luck to Spring sunshine!

We've scored a booth at the 2007 Massive Tech Show! The only catch is
that we have to outfit an 8 x 10 trade show booth & have it look
professional...for this coming Wednesday!!!!!! (breathe, ifny, breathe)

The Basel Action Network is Fed-exing us some materials. We're trying to
get a banner made of the FG logo to hang. We'll be printing brochures
etc etc.

If you want to help us set the booth up, that will happen on Tues the
27th from 2-9. We'll need help tearing down on Wed.

Also if anyone has access to fancy-pants tradeshow display equipment,
please call us a.s.a.p.alicious! 604-690-7372. Our booth will be 8' x
10' & the back wall is curtain; we'll also have one table to put
materials on. Think portable walls, science project zigzag display stand
things...
