Hi there,
Co-op radio is looking for someone trustworthy/reliable to help with
basic maintenance of our computer network.
Basically someone to come in and look at our systems for about 4 hours a
month (we can pay for this).
Of immediate concern (and we are willing to pay a fair wage for this) is
to fix our antivirus system (symantec corporate edition, it is not
updating the client computer virus defs and appears to be locked) and
our HP tape backup system (the scripts are all messed up). Both of these
problems are on one computer host and may be due to network settings.
We only have about 6 computers in our network and they are all running
Windows2K. We have thought about going to Ubuntu but we need to use MS
Access (integral to our organization as we have used it to build our
membership database of over 18k people).
Does anyone know someone that could help us out? For the regular
computer maintenance we can afford to pay $25/hr (e.g. $100/mo). But for
the immediate problems with AV and tape backup we will pay whatever is a
fare rate.
Please contact Danjel for more details.
