Hello Freegeeks
By way of introduction, my name's Rick Worthy, I'm a closet Linux dog that's
had an avocation in computers and computing for many years.  I built my
first machine from a kit in 1979 (H89-Heathkit).

At the suggestion of my son Graeme, I came to Windowless Wednesday last week
and met a few of you and enjoyed the spirited conversation.  Like many of
you, I'm no Microsoft fan.

My favourite projects has been building Linux Terminal Servers from the
K12LTSP project.  This is a great way to use old equipment and yet provide
high workstation performance that modern users expect.  I've built several
of these and they worked very well.  I also experimented with multi-head
machines but with much less success.
