Hello list,
As per last week's general meeting, I've created a bunch of new email
lists for the various working groups.

These lists use mailman, the same as the resist.ca list.

The lists use our freegeekvancouver.org domain name so they can be
switched to a different host with little fuss.

The new lists are currently hosted on my server. I suppose it is as
good a place as any for now.

I'm not going to sign anyone up automatically for any new lists. The
list of groups were taken from the minutes of the last meeting. Here
is a list of lists:

  Fg-communications - Communications
To Join: fg-communications-subscribe at freegeekvancouver.org

Fg-content - Web and other public content
To join: fg-content-subscribe at freegeekvancouver.org

  Fg-education - Education group
To join: fg-education-subscribe at freegeekvancouver.org

  Fg-governance - Governance mailing list
To join: fg-governance-subscribe at freegeekvancouver.org

  Fg-locations - Looking for a location
To join: fg-locations-subscribe at freegeekvancouver.org

Fg-ohs - Freegeek Vancouver Health and Safety
To join: fg-ohs-subscribe at freegeekvancouver.org

  Fg-recycling - Recycling group
To join: fg-recycling-subscribe at freegeekvancouver.org

Fg-software - Freegeek Vancouver software development.
To join: fg-software-subscribe at freegeekvancouver.org

Additionally, I've created a general discussion list. The
freegeek-van at lists.resist.ca list already fills this role. Nine lists
isn't much more work than eight, if they are all on the same machine.
I leave the issue for discussion, the content of the resist.ca list
should be fairly easy to migrate should we choose to do so.

Fg-general - General Freegeek Vancouver discussion.

If you send an email to the -subscribe address, you get a confirmation
email with instructions for posting and finding the archives.

All posts to all lists are archived on a public website. Email
addresses are slightly obfuscated to prevent spam harvesting.
