[The Flying Folk Army]

It's been a little while since we've emailed y'all and just so you know we
haven't dropped off the face of the earth - here's an update on upcoming
shows! In addition to this, it looks like the Flying Folk Army will be
going back into the recording studio in October to start work on another
full-length album which we're all really excited about! Coming out to our
shows helps us to put together the cash that we need to record - so if you
want more of us out there on the airwaves, then bring your dancing feet
out sometime in the next while!

Friday, September 6th - TANGLEWOOD MARKET - (1614 West 3rd Ave. @ Fir (near
Granville Island) Entrance 'round the back). PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!
Perforated Productions is having a fundraiser for our winter 2003
production of Blake Brooker's "Ilsa, Queen of the Nazi Love Camp",
directed by Jonathan Teague (Flying Folk Percussionist and Mandolin
Player). Come on our and hear us, Candelaria, and the Misanthorps rip the
stage up! Admission $10

Saturday, September 7th - SILVERTONE PUB (Commercial Drive at 11th) -
It's the end of summer, but we're still putting on the party! The Flying
Folk Army will entertain you all night long at the Silvertone Pub.
Come on out and dance and party with us! Show Starts at 9:00 and the
Admission is $5 or by donation!

Sunday, September 8th - FEAST OF FIELDS - (UBC Demonstration Farm) - We're
playing this annual benefit event for Farm Folk City Folk again this year
and very happy about it! Great food and a good cause, check out more

Sunday, October 20th - Film Screening and Benefit Dinner for
Deconstructing Supper - Normal Rothstein Theatre. More info on this
forthcoming.
