1:00-3:00/4:30 internal workshop on process of transitioning - maintaining
relationships - 3 hours
7:00-9:00 public workshop on megaload resistance

-Report back from Portland Rising Tide on Megaload lock-downs and blockades.

  -fracking- talk about it but not too much (maybe there was too much last
time)
-Lee will email Michael to ask about schedule etc

*Rory speaking in Social Justice class Wednesday:*
-how to connect with them/not go over their heads/no jargon
-brainstorm what an alternative future might look like - decolonized society
-how do we organize?! address decolonization in context of how we organize
around it
  -solidarity, organizing with Unist'ot'en camp
  -what that looks like- organizing with decol and anti-cap at core
-rory, you should be naked/in a funny location when you skype/with a
balaclava and nothing else

*Streams of Justice: Climate Justice Panel*
Feb 10th, 7:00
-want a rising tide speaker to talk about resistance
-Kaleb has volunteered to speak
-Teresa, Cody, Jac, Harold to support around content
-talk about resistance, or 20 minute piece to start discussion? are they
the same thing?
-Those doing it should confer with Teresa/streams to figure out details

*Dis/Ability - No One Left Behind Workshop*
After March 8th
kaleb, jac, monster and fiona organizing
-Direct Action focus
-Short introduction to how dis/ableism functions in 'movements'
-facilitated discussion
-use direct actions as lens to look at assumptions made, how things could
look different
-if you have ideas for how to interact around this stuff, activities please
share!

*Environmental Justice Workshop (in the works)*
-emailed outlines, look at them and stuff...?
-overview of projects happening
-powerpoint from last Uni workshop, look over and edit
-everyone can contribute, those doing SFU workshop will take what they want
and use
-folks should sign-up to do research on specific topics
-Rory sent out a google doc today
-lee described the many benefits of Prezie... (fractals!)
-everything is easy..

*Security Culture Workshop:*
-Read email from Fletch/Sue

*Bob Ages Union Issues workshop:*
"framing a discussion on the relationship between radical political
activism and the union movement as it has evolved to its current state."
-eco-socialists? could be good resource to learn about the radical union
stuff currently that we do want to get involved in
-goal to have a workshop with Bob setting up the context, eco-socialists to
speak about radical contingents and the kinds of unions we'd like to work
with
-Need a better idea from Bob
  -fiona will contact Bob
-Public or internal?
  -rising tide and eco-socialists internal event? makin' friends!
