how we are going to stop him from doing just that, so that the Pantages
site can be developed into housing for low-income people.    *

Pantages rubble site -- 138 E Hastings (between Regent and Brandiz Hotels)**

*This site has been filled with rats, rubble and mould for over a year now.
The city could use it’s legal powers to order the owner to clear the site
but does nothing.  “It’s a double standard, the city is hypocritical
allowing Mr Rich to have his yard look like a garbage dump here.
Government would step in if this happened in another neighbourhood because
they have more power” - Regent Hotel resident.*  ****
