Fellow Workers, Friends, I just sent this to the folks organizing the Statewide Day of Action: Rally for Rent Control in San Diego! which is this Wednesday, the 24th.  "IWW San Diego Local 13 met yesterday and had endorsement of this action on our agenda. Unfortunately we lost quorum before we got to it. We are pretty sure a strong majority of our members support rent control as one of the immediate needs of the working class. We decided, absent an official endorsement vote by our local, that we can offer up the following individual endorsements (with titles): Eric Chamberlin, IWW Local 13 Treasurer; Preston Chipps, IWW Local 13 General Defense Committee; Monty Kroopkin, IWW Local 13 Secretary.
