[Crsd] Last strike day rally, noon May 9, UCSD

  Fellow Workers, Friends, Three unions at UCSD and the rest of the UC system will end a 3-day strike tomorrow, May 9. If you can join the picket line and/or the noon rally, please wear your own union colors. At the UCSD campus, you can find the picket check-in tables, and the noon rally, at the intersection of Gilman Drive and Villa La Jolla Drive (by  the V.A. Hospital). It is also the entrance to the Gilman Parking Structure. These union workers are now working without a contract. If the UC administration will not settle a contract, longer strikes may be coming in the weeks and months ahead. Strong showing of community support for our fellow workers can help to get their demands sooner.
