[Crsd] IWW wage theft action list

Fellow Workers and Comrades,



The Wage Theft Committee of the San Diego IWW is putting to a contact list
for our direct action campaigns. Our goal is be able to RELIABLY put
together pickets of ten to twenty people at businesses that have stolen
wages from a worker or workers, and do it without letting the bosses or the
cops know we are coming.



An attempt to organize a protest against Starbucks by Facebook some years
back resulted in an action that was met by two squad cars for every
protester. Instead of a protest we were all treated to a lecture about how
they (the police) were there to protect our freedom. Clearly this was
ineffective.



Attempts to organize by email alone are for similar actions have proven
unreliable. Emails are too easy to ignore.



We have done a lot of research for this project and have a steady supply of
wage theft cases to take on from the Employee Rights Center. We just need
to make sure that our tiny branch can get the needed people together when
needed.
