In a Search for Justice: a Canadian and a Mexican Journey
an evening of images, politics, live music & Latin American food

Raoul Léger: The Elusive Truth
Guatemala - 1981. Raoul Léger, an Acadian lay missionary, was murdered. 20
years later his sisters travel to Guatemala to search for the truth. This
film speaks of the life and death of one man, and the people he loved. It
was made so that their story would not die. (2002, 70 mins.)
Hunger for Justice
A short film documenting the conditions in which 51 Mexican political
prisoners are held today. These images were filmed by an international
commission of human rights organizations while visiting them. A visual
testimony contesting the official story of Canada's NAFTA partner. (2002, 12
mins.)
