Join us for our next monthly Bus Riders Union meeting as we come together to
share experiences, strategize and plan to take on the continuing
privatization and corporatization of our transit system.  We will be
building a strategic plan to confront the new corporate TransLink Board and
expose and oppose the Provincial Government's agenda to privatize our
transit system.

*Strategic Plan Objectives:
*
1. Continue to educate and organize bus riders to better understand and
fight back against the neoliberal program which is redistributing resources
from working class communities to the rich

2. Expose and oppose the leading role of the Provincial Government in
privatizing transit; and the corporations who are benefiting from the
privatization and increasingly controlling transit

3. Maintain and expand our vision of a truly democractic transit system

4. Put forward the absolute need for a public (social) transit system from
social, economic and environmental perspective
