End of Summer BBQ!

*Where: *Sahalli Park at Fraser and 8th Avenue
(one block from our office at 672 East Broadway)


Join the Organizing Centre for Social and Economic Justice for our End of
Summer Barbecue!

The Organizing Centre is the office and homebase of the *Bus Riders Union *and
*Alliance for People's Health* and a launching pad for new organizations and
campaigns. Join us for an afternoon of eating, chatting and wrapping up the
summer together. There will be delicious food – hamburgers, veggie dogs,
chicken, salads, chips and desserts. Feel free to bring something to share
or to throw on the BBQ.

Join us in a game of bocce ball or bring your own outdoor game – badminton
 or croquet maybe? There will be lively music and other entertainment.

If it rains, the party will be moved to our office at 672 East Broadway (at
Fraser).

Everyone is welcome!

Also join the Bus Riders Union for our next Monthly Meeting on Saturday
September 13th at 1pm at our office to talk about the criminalization of bus
riders - high fares, $173 fines and police harassment have to stop! Come get
involved.
