Please join us for the next Bus Riders Union Monthly Meeting:

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3
11AM - 1PM @ 672 E. BROADWAY (AT FRASER)
Coffee, Tea, Snacks.  Children Welcome.

We will be discussing our Campaign against the Fare Increase.  TransLink
recently announce a $17 million surplus (on top of the already expected $48
million surplus), almost the same amount they expect to take in from the far
increase next year.  We are calling on TransLink to use the surplus to stop
the fare increase.  Come and strategize and plan for the campaign:

 - Gathering 1000 letters from bus riders in time for the December TL Board
meeting
 - Organizing a press conference and media work for the November TL meeting
 - Planning actions to put political pressure on TransLink directors and
hold them accountable
