*Only a mass movement can turn the tide of neoliberalism...*

With the looming fare increase and the steady privatization of transit it is
urgent that we continue to organize our communities into a movement for
social, economic and environmental justice.  This week, organizing on the
buses in Vancouver and at Surrey Central Skytrain Station we heard the
same refrain from hundreds of bus riders: "the rich are getting richer and
the poor are getting poorer and we are barely statying afloat..."   Only by
building people power from the ground up with organizations like the BRU
will we be able to turn this tide of neoliberalism.

Join us for our next BRU Monthly Meeting as we share, discuss and plan how
to move forward with our struggle for social, economic and
environmental justice for our communities in the coming year.
